I’m ramping up for one heckuva busy week in lovely Rosemont, IL.
It starts off next Monday with the AWA Label Release Liner Seminar 2010. The intensive one-day program includes a Label Release Liner Market Overview; Trends & Developments in Global Label Markets; a look at Global Consolidation in the Release-Liner Market; and lots more. There’ll be presentations by UPM Specialty Papers, Channeled Resources, VIFAN USA, Krones, USA, Avery Dennison, Boise Specialty Papers and The Label Printers. Check back here on Tuesday for my on-site report. In the meantime, follow my tweets at www.twitter.com/CnvCurmudgeon for real-time updates from the seminar.
Then, it’s off to the Stephens Convention Ctr. for three days of “everything label and narrow-web printing and converting” at Labelexpo Americas 2010. Tons of new technology in web-processing machinery and materials will be displayed by upwards of 400 exhibitors for the 12,000 or so attendees expected. Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing the latest digital presses and digital finishing systems from the dozens of suppliers that will fill Hall 4. Again, click back here for my Labelexpo on-site review. Ditto, follow my tweets at www.twitter.com/CnvCurmudgeon for updates on new product info and other Labelexpo Americas news.
