RockTenn hikes containerboard price
The Norcross, GA-based paperboard supplier sets a $60 per ton price increase on all grades of containerboard, effective with August 2010 orders. RockTenn has annual sales of $3 billion and operates plants in the US, Canada, Mexico, Chile and Argentina.

Fraser Papers seeks court okay to sell NH paper mill
The Canadian paper and paperboard substrate provider says it will seek court approval next week in Ontario Superior Court to sell its paper mill in Gorham, NH. A similar hearing is set for July 14 at the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Fraser Papers and the purchaser have agreed to extend the closing date to Aug. 31. The Gorham mill operates three paper machines; it produced 37,000 tons of towel products last year.
